So I just saw the movie today. I enjoyed it a lot more than I had initially suspected I would as I did not like the Harry Potter movies that much. (I only saw a couple of them and I never actually read the last book in the series.)

I do have one question/nitpick about it ...

If Obscurists are a result of young wizards not being trained in their magic how did Harry not die before he became old enough for Hogwarts?

Isn't there more to it than training?  Doesn't it involve repression and abuse?
