It sounds like you got stuck in an update loop. You probably copied the whole thing instead of just Database.

Go into ParagonChat like before and delete 'Bin' and only Bin. Then redownload.

Tried rebooting? A copy might be stuck and still running but invisible.

ive rebooted twice. i should also mention, that i renamed the file back to paragonchat ..should i rename it again?

Just rename both of them to paragonchat.old1 and paragonchat.old2 or something like that. Something is messed up and you need to start fresh, can worry about trying to copy stuff in later.
