This time of year hits me hard with the loss of the game.

Yes, I'm an 8 foot tall ice sword wielding hero that looks like Santa but I miss the "I want a pony" jokes or handing out influence with other characters who dress up as one of my "little (occasionally sexy) helpers" to new characters in Atlas Park and Galaxy City (pre trashing). 

I made this character in October of 2004 and not some Kringle come lately.  He was my one and only Tank and one and only Level 50.  I enjoyed tanking, taking the alpha for the party and then saying "my turn" and wade into them, years before Tony Stark said the same thing in the Mark I.

He wasn't the most powerful of my characters but he fulfilled my need to be a protector, someone who put themselves between danger and others.  It was rather cathartic.

God I miss this game.
