Dark Age Of Camelot?
« on: August 09, 2015, 02:25:29 PM »
Hey everyone, Recently I started playing Dark age again and its a blast, It's not so much focused on PVE, but the PVE It has is really fun. If you can get past the outdated graphics and UI I'd say It's definitely worth a shot!

I gave up on DAOC after about 2 years of playing.  Too much favoritism on the part of the devs towards a certain realm, and too many
class balance issues which they chose to ignore.  Trials of Atlantis was the last straw.

Really didn't feel like learning a new RVR system either, which from what I heard didn't fix the core issue of realm population imbalance.

I played DAoC from a few days after launch right up until ToA came out. I still think the SI expansion was on of the best experiences of that kind I've had in an MMO. I still think the devs did a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong with the game, and perhaps were a bit too ambitious over all. I've played it a few times over the years for nostalgia stake, but it just doesn't click with me any more.
