/FX command?

Is there a /slash command for FX to play on spawned NPCs in Icon?  I'm not talking the /MOV animations, but the .FX you'd see in demo edits.

AFAIK, the best we've come up with is to either specify a .fx in a .costume and load_costume, or http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php/topic,9705.0.html. You can /load_costume on a targeted NPC, so that's likely the "best" way for now.
