What's Int's big deal?

I have my own reasons for wanting to try an INT heavy build but I'm curious why Int has been so popular lately?

It's necessary for the energy unlock molecular self assembly which gives a ton of energy and for ranges toons also works with concentration.  Which is key to minimize time energy building and maximizing energy and damage output.  More energy = more damage.

So it works with MSA that I don't want and gives an energy discount I don't neeeeeeed (we always want more) and can boost Concentration like Ego.

Bummer, I mean that's cool but I was hoping for something mysterious like armor penetration instead of the obvious stuff. I like I can detect stealth with it too. /eye Freon...

INT also helps with Overdrive, though how much some people will debate. So it's worth while for some maintain builds.

Ok, much appreciated. Since my first build I've tried to fit Int in and I'm about to give it another go in the first time since awhile and I keep hearing how great Int is vs. Ego for example soooo I thought I'd check in and see if I was missing something I should be trying to take advantage of.
