I'm currently testing the use of Wine via Homebrew instead of Cider to launch Titan Icon. Cider has been kind of creaky and buggy with severe problems in windowed mode, and it's been annoying me for a long time. Plus the upgrade path for Cider is blocked because it's unlikely Transgaming will help us with Icon! So if the future updates to Icon are to remain stable and usable, Wine looks like the way to go.
Keep an eye on this space for further announcements on this Wine testing. And upcoming release of Island Rum just might open the road to the future.
