Welcome to Paragon City
« on: April 01, 2015, 04:00:34 AM »
In this game, your employer has transferred you to Rhode Island.  You have decided to move to Paragon City, (the fictious city where City of Heroes takes place.)  Which city zone will you live in and why?

You must name a city zone, you can only afford to rent an apartment.
And you must give three or so reasons why THAT zone.

Talos Island.
1) It's an island, how cool is that?
2) Great big fricking statue in the harbor.
3) The bad guys were high enough level to leave most people alone, but low enough not to drive away the heroes.
3a) Just stay off the big hill across from the train station.

Does Night Ward count? I wanna live in Night Ward because the stars are always out since it's always night and there's lots of floating lanterns everywhere.

Perez Park for the beautiful pastoral views, and the incredibly stylish cultist neighbors. Aaaaannd, the Sewer Systems for that weird cool music at the beginning of the zone, and for the incredibly convenient doctors that hide down there.

Atlas Park.

1. The city has an unquestionably strong hero presence here. good sense of security.
2. Atlas Park is, to many, the heart and soul of Paragon City.
3. It has Miss Liberty camping out underneath the epic statue of Atlas.

'nuff said.  8)

Port Oakes; its directly connected to Cap Au Diable and you can get the ferry to other places if you want. Aeon city plaza is beautiful, there are Arachnos guards patrolling in the more dangerous areas and most enemies are to busy fighting amongst each other to bother the citizenry. There's a pocket D entrance AND an arena AND a spoopy spoopy castle. And that without even going into the interesting folks you find there like Mr Bocor and Lunata...also there's a black market....yay.
