New to the game, Need help.

Hello everyone, I bought "City of Villians"  long ago and found it a few days ago, i found time to install it and see what the game is like for the first time, But i cannot get it to start, it opens a small updater window and i get the anoying text of "Cannot find server"   for the updates, Anyone know how i can solve this and still be able to play the game?

Uh, the game shut down in 2012. There's no way to play right now. Sorry!

If you check out the Hail Mary subforum, there's a team trying to buy the game in order to re-launch it but it is all behind-closed-doors dealings so we're just chatting while waiting.
