And to a lesser extent: whoever thought it was a good idea having numerous scenes with Spidey swinging alongside people who are running/walking down corridors when it's been shown that web fluid supply is an issue.

yes, but the thing about kid stuff like cartoons and books is the best ones are written for adults and kids to enjoy. the kids will watch it and enjoy it just because it has spider-man on it - kids liked e.g. Batman TAS just fine. when you have adults trying to write something they think kids would like is when you usually run into problems.

I'd say it's targeted at kids 7+, which doesn't mean a cartoon has to be awful.
