Longbow costume pieces

Has anyone figured out how to get the Freedom Corps/Longbow costume in Icon, even if it's just in the editor? I've been looking through the pigg files, but I haven't found where the Longbow assets are kept or how to access them once I found them.

My main used to have the Longbow costume as her primary costume, and I wanted to try and re-create her. Got it back in Issue... 1 I think? When a bug allowed you to default to it. As long as I never changed that costume slot, I got to keep it after they fixed the bug. Kept it til I stopped playing in Issue 15.

I don't remember if they're called "Longbow" costumes specifically, but what you have to do is go to the shortcut of Icon you have, and I mean the shortcut, not the actual program. Right click on it and go to properties. You'll see a bar that should say something like "E:\City of Heroes\CohBeta\icon.exe" and you'll want to change it to "E:\City of Heroes\CohBeta\icon.exe" -n

That will get you access to the NPC parts. You'll still have to sort through them, but they should still be there.

That was actually the first thing I tried. Sadly I couldn't find FC/Longbow costume parts in there (but I did find a Longbow harness as a chest piece).

I'm in the process of re-creating the costumbin.doc someone posted previously (the download links no longer work). Going to use that along with PARTSNAME lists from FC/Longbow npcs I loaded in some demos last night and see if I can't create a .costume file that loads the FC/Longbow in Icon.

S'ok, this is turning into a futile endeavor anyway. My main was female, and apparently there are FC/Longbow costume editor parts for Male and Huge characters but not for Female. I'm trying to track down where exactly the female FC/Longbow costume textures reside, but in the end I'll probably have to do it in demo editing.

Which I am sucking at right now  :P

I take it back, it was possible to create a FC/Longbow female .costume file after all. You just can't load it in the editor, but once in game it loads fine.

Makes me so damn giddy to fly around with her again, after a five year hiatus!
