I'll take an Emp/Fire Defender build.  Fully functional with SS.  Softcaped to s/l and 150% global recharge before hasten. 

Go test those skills. :)

I was wanting to request a build for an Elec/Martial Assault dominator.

I made one when Paragon Chat came out and the combo seems nice. So I'm planning to make one when ever we get the game back.

I was hoping for softcap S/L and perma dom.

Martial Assault was a planned Issue 24 power set...so when coH comes back it will not be available due to CoH being "stuck" in Issue 23 mode.

I was wanting to request a build for an Elec/Martial Assault dominator.

Been away for awhile. While your build meets the request... it also utilizes purples and pvp IOs. I don't do builds with those because 1. Even when game was running they could be overly expensive for the average player and 2. When the game comes back they are going to be very difficult to get. I believe a build should be the best it can be without purples and pvp IOs. Now with that said... when the game was live... I used purple and pvp IOs in my builds, BUT I also had billions and billions of inf and a stockpile of purple/pvp IOs lol. I mainly used the pvp defense proc because that 3% came in handy in some builds.

You can shift things around and end up with a cheaper build that remains soft-capped, but has less recharge. Then if you play it long enough you could upgrade the IO's and use a few respecs.

Ah okay, I didn't really check Issue 24 out but I figured it might of been a power that wasn't released yet. Since I didn't remember seeing other players with Martial Assault.

I loved the animation for Crane Kick, Dragon's Tail, Eagles Claw and Spirit Shark Jaws, they were some of the best looking powers in the game.  Enjoy.

Can you make me a Controller build at level 30 (NOT 50, I will make my own build for level 50) for when we exemp down for when the game is up again?

Favorite types of Primaries for trollers are: Gravity, or maybe Illusion or Dark (never tried Dark).

Secondary could be any of the following in no particular order (whichever you see as a cool combo with the picked Primary is fine by me): Dark, FF, Rad, Storm or Time. Any of those are fun ones for me. Other than that, I want to be a TEAM player for obvious (level 30) reasons. Just make sure I can get to 30 using this build as a guide (hate respeccing when I can just plan ahead). Thanks in advance.

Thanks man, I dig what you did for the 30s build. Though I might change out Crushing Field for Crush as I really don't need the aoe immob. I would probably slot it the same though and just rotate between Crush and Grav Dist to induce containment on the mobs.

You disagree? I use Crush and Grav Dist to set up that containment buff to my damage and use lift/Propel to really hit my targets hard. This was never a toon that was doing +4x8 Mobs solo.

I think part of the "what..but..whaa..huh?" stems from an aoe immob being a very team friendly power. Myself; I rarely use single target immob
 either solo or in teams. If I am dealing with just one target...I just hold it :)

Yeah what Burnt Toast said. I suppose if you're solo fighting x1 all the time the single target would make for better dps, but with mobs that small I can't imagine needing to immobilize something given that it doesn't really provide mitigation. If I've got a mob of 3 and no aoe mez up I'd probably hold 1, lift 2, hold 3, lift 2, hold 2. Granted if we're dealing with mobs that small you could probably eat the attacks they got off, so I'd be leaving quite a bit of damage on the table by just lifting for the mitigation. But if dps were my main concern then barring a special mob (sapper or something), why not just use the aoe immob as an opener to set up contain damage for my mitigating attacks too?

So I could see it, but really, I don't see it :D

Here ya be. Not sure how your playstyle is, so I went with mine (more or less). Feel free to change as you see fit. I personally would have lost the teammate rez and grabbed acrobatics to give a little mez protection. Otherwise, be prepared to pop a lot of skittles to keep from being mezzed.
