HR's updates never really "dwindled", which sounds like a gradual drop-off. It was anything but gradual. It was actually updating at its regular schedule, several times a month (not strictly weekly, but almost), until December 2009, when Matt's second child was born... and that was pretty much it. In 2010, there were only four updates, with the last being at the very end of the year, and no updates at all from January 2011 through March 2014. We never even got the final episode of the Stinko Man game.
So it wasn't really a gradual decline but an abrupt change, it wasn't really "four years" between updates, and Matt's brother's name is Mike, not Mark.
Nitpicking of the article itself aside... this is exciting news! (I wonder if they'll sneak in references to Wander Over Yonder, Gravity Falls, and maybe even Yo Gabba Gabba as in inside jokes)
