Original CoH Forums?

Does anyone have the original CoH Forums archived?

I was considering at the very least it used to show on your Avatar the date you signed onto the Forums. This would at least be good for Veteran rewards! A data base could be made that could list all the active board dates at the very least.

But.... I played from the first week until the last day and I never signed up with the "official forums".  That would leave me at the bottom of the list.

I posted a few times, but under a different name :( started to call myself Angel when I started to play Champions (I do they could do a search of my real name.) I would post a few times in the scrapper forum on the old website.

Yeah, I'm not sure how helpful it would be either, since not everyone used the old forums, and certainly not everyone signed up for them right after they started playing. I'm sure there were quite a lot of folks who only EVER used them when they had some kind of question or problem they wanted help with.

I know I registered May 11th 2004 but had played since the first day.

I was just trying to brainstorm ways to prove your time in game. Who knows maybe they would have a starter pack? Maybe $25 and you get all the goodies?

Me too! It's kinda weird to think I've been "Online" there this whole time, considering I couldn't stay logged in for ten straight minutes back when they were still active.  :P  ;D


And yeah, I would totally go in for some kind of "early adopter" pack, where you pay a lump sum up front to get a big, juicy goodie pack. One for all the power sets, one for all the costume pieces, one for all the vet rewards, so on. It'd be a good way for the new team to get a big chunk of cash early on, while the more eager players get back to a status they're more familiar with.

Unfortunately I don't think I signed up for the official forums even though I have been reading it alot when the game was available.

But I have been playing since beta rolled around that's probably not good enough unfortunately I actually don't have alot saved at all to show that.

And if there is a goodie pack to purchase that they might make I'm more then willing to put my money on that :).

I you do not see yourself in the capture of the archive then change the date in the string to a date when you think you might have posted

Then just adjust the pointer a capture at a time till you find it

Why not use Sentinel? Your oldest toon might have all your vet badges on it, right? Since the month does not realky matter so much. But the year is what counts.

I lost my Sentinel files when my computer crashed...(and a friend's too) :'(  However, as an email hoarder, I DO have my original email telling me my account was activated and giving me my unique id, so I think I'm set...if it comes to that.  And I should be on the archives somewhere trying to figure out how to rebuild my beloved (puny) Risha, a mind/emp troller, but that was late in the game.
