We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

Somewhere beyond time and space, if you look hard you might find a flash of silver trailing crimson: a lone lost Spartan on his way home.

I take it that setting Nick up with Azuria is a bad idea?
*pause...thinks*
A very bad idea...

*starts packing bags to live in remote location* I blame the heat brain doesn't function well in 40C
"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea's asleep, and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea's getting cold. Come on, Ace. We've got work to do!" - The Doctor

So they're saying they can detect a suitcase nuke hidden in a building just by flying over the city and scanning it?

Well, depending on certain factors,  gamma pretty much goes through everything except the densest material, so they'd see it:

Not to say you couldn't shield the case... but the carrier might have been exposed to it and HE/SHE would emit the gammas for a bit...  But they're gonna blow it up anyway, so they won't care much about that whole being irradiated bit. :p

/It's all very complicated, I'm sure.
