My "farewell to the official servers" video is finally done.

Rotten Luck

One way or another... Heroes will fly again!

Leandro, you had the Justice server all popping off about seeing their characters in your video. I assume you grabbed those from the Tribute video character file when you were helping me.

Oh and of course I was thrilled to see TA in there a few times. Always am when I see him do a cameo but definitely this one.

That's right, I have the dump of 366 characters, which is the last version you sent me. I don't remember what scene I put them in, but I do remember sourcing a crowd specifically out of the Justice folder.

Was just before the Villains ship arrives. 1:33 to 1:45. Under Atlas. The final for that was 390 characters after all was said and done so you weren't missing a lot.

Right there with you, VV.   And seeing our heroes rebuilding,  there was that  "YES!" singing in my soul.
"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea's asleep, and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea's getting cold. Come on, Ace. We've got work to do!" - The Doctor

Okay I specifically waited to watch this video in the hopes I wouldn't break down sobbing upon viewing.

Not so much luck.

Did spot my hero on the second go around. Because I had to torture myself. Had a good game of 'spot the toons I know' as with the Heroes video. And, amazing job with the feels, Leo. Thank you.

Sorry dude, but the video should have ended at 3:55.

Everything up to that point was epic and well crafted.

(Except for the random bouncing box following Castle around.... or was that supposed to be Pohsyb?  :))

Audience retention statistics for the video, with the red mark at 3:55:

Meaning: until around 3:25, the video was losing viewers, slowly but surely. The destruction of Atlas Park is when point where the most people stopped watching and left.

When the second song remains, the audience retention became really high. Not only people didn't stop watching, but in the absolute retention numbers, the number of viewers actually went up (from people re-watching that specific part).

So while I can't argue with what you liked, when looking at all 5000+ views, the rebuilding part was more popular than the "blow everything to bits" part.

Thank you for the pic, Liz! That's the first color image anyone's done of him. Can you email me the full res file so I can print it?

Listen to the 'mustn'ts'. Listen to the 'don'ts'. Listen to the 'shouldn'ts', the 'impossibles', the 'won'ts'. Listen to the 'you'll never haves', then listen close to me... Anything can happen . Anything can be.

Even having seen this video before, it's always hard to watch the destruction ... it's only because I know what's coming at the end I'm able to make it through.

When this first came out, I would watch it for the cathartic emotional experience of seeing our world destroyed, and the second half was just a vague hopeful note.

But now, with actual progress being made in the Plan Z universe, the first half hurts a little less and the second half inspires me with a real hope.

Still love the entire vid.
