Massively's Biggest Disappointment of 2012: City of Heroes' Sunset

"In an industry that seems to produce a lot of cookie-cutter games, trying to steal users from existing games, City of Heroes has always done its own thing. The designers at Paragon Studios really listened to its playerbase and taught many lessons to many MMO designers. Hopefully, future producers will see some of the extraordinary things CoH did -- like side-kicking, player-generated content, and unlockable classes -- and carry them on to the next generation of games."

Gone, but still not forgotten.

Yeah.

The Mayans were right.

No more COX, no more Twinkies, besides the few good giants, not even many good movies were made this year, bad economy, people going nuts and shooting kids, (the two Florida incidents and the COlorado incident at least.). What did they know that we couldnt see coming with all of our technology?

Gone, but still not forgotten.

And there are those of us who will make sure it never is, so long as we have mind enough to keep that flame alive.

Couldn't forget, even if I wanted to, and not sure I could ever want to, so...

Gone? Who says the game is gone?

I can still view all my characters, make new ones, see NPCs, see every map in the game, hear every sound from the game, see animations.

We may not have gameplay, but the rest of the game is here ;)

Not to mention all the videos and demofiles.
I'm all dressed up with nowhere to go
Walkin' with a dead man over my shoulder

Waiting for an invitation to arrive
Goin' to a party where no one's still alive

Ayup, and those will be powerful tools in our arsenal to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!

...

Er, to make sure people don't forget, I meant to say. Yeah, that's the ticket!  8)

...make Mids builds, wander around the wiki, spend too much time reading the forums, spend way too much time in the costume creator...

Shoot, if someone has demorecords of standing in Wents for an hour and superjumping around the rooftops in Kings Row, then I'll have 90% of my previous game activities recovered ;)

The only other thing besides gameplay thats bugging me is when a random question pops to mind that the wiki doesnt cover (random random unimportant stuff) google returns links to the old forums.

Does anyone remember what flavors Enriche came in? I know at least one was mentioned somewhere...

Sekoia

I believe Enriche is just water, without flavors.

Perhaps you're thinking of Beefy Pop? Headjuiced and Marvel of Modern Medicine both reference Beefy Pop as a beverage separate from Enriche.

Pengy

There was a Cherry Delight Enriche or something, but I don't recall the exact name.

Nope, there was at least an advertisement for a new flavor, even if there weren't old flavors. I just can't remember it...

Swear I'm not crazy!
