Now now - I think everyone's input is valid here and together we will get the right image that will convey the message we want for the Colbert Show.

I think the overall idea/look of Vy's burning City Hall picture is great. I also really like the NCsoft fireballs.

For the picture with the black silhouette, unfortunately the first thing it made me think of was "blackface". I also think the figure's a bit creepy, but maybe that's just me.

I can see where the "angry Asian man" might be received by some as racist. I think it would help a lot if you could actually use Kim Taek-Jin's face, rather than using a generic Asian man in his place. Could that be done without compromising the feel of the picture?

Though I actually kinda like Godzilla, too.

In my very humble opinion...

I like angry guy (is he Asian, Portuguese, Inuit, Hawaiian, Latino, Samoan?).  The grey-faced cartoon is creepy.  Godzilla just seems silly and overused.

Could the NCSoft Building be anthropomorphized (is that the word for it?)... give THIS an angry face and arms?

To be extremely nitpicky...

The cropping on his hair looks.... off.  It looks like he has pointy hair at multiple spots. Unless he actually looked that way in the original photo... :)

Not to belittle Vy's efforts - at all! - but...if we were somehow able to give Kim the facial expression from the previous "angry asian guy," then it would be beyond perfect!   ;D

I just happened to be listening to a  remix of the Lavos theme from Chrono Trigger.

I now can't just not hear him lavos screaming.  Worse a quote from the game popped into my mine.

Okay.... I'm going to say something that may seem contradictory to itself

The image has become too busy... yet it's missing an element.

Needs a fallen hero on the ground.

Maybe less fire bombs, and add fallen Statesman?
