I'm seeing an unconfirmed report in the facebook Save CoH group that the Los Angeles Times along with two newspapers in San Bernadino, are going to be picking up the Save CoH story.

The text of the post-

"I am so excited! I got a call from my friend who works for a newspaper here in California and they picked up our story! Not just that when 2 other news papers, one a major news paper heard they picked up the save coh story too! The articles will be published this week!"

The poster goes on to say that she'll link everyone when the stories come out.

Lol TimtheEndhanter That's what I been telling people.  Yeah it's a class 2 storm still off in the water.  Projected for the eye to hit land about 4 hours from now.  I'm going.... okay I been through this before why everyone panicking?  But if it knocks out my power I'm offline then and BORED.

Only Thing I like about storms is the lighting light shows.  Don't get that from this... it's pure wind and a lot of water.  Hmm from the radar I might be hit by another heavy band in a few mins.

I'm not sure if the media's trying to hype it up, but that whole merging with two other storms thing... yeah...

Seems to me like it's already fizzling out. Somehow it's doing more far inland than on the coast, which is VERY weird.

Update:  Lost power yesterday at 6:30 PM give or take.   Power just came back on an hour half ago it's now 12:39 PM so power came back at 11:09 AM.

Had some minor flooding due to the pump in the basement/garage loosing power but nothing some sweeping and moping couldn't fix.

in a post on the official forums here, it kind of shows what the dev team has been up to for the last 2 months

according to the devs, ncsoft was completely surprised by the savecoh movement, public outcry, and complete dissatisfaction for ncsoft as a result of the coh closure

also mentioned is another point we can use in future articles that COH was the largest and most active MMO to be shut down which also looks extremely bad for ncsoft

Yep, I think this is a great and important bullet point (at the very least) for our talks about this closing and our efforts to inform the public/press about the facts of this particular scenario.

Visiting a random cell tower to get internet access and just check in.

Was really no flooding here to speak of. Just a big wind storm. Few trees down amazingly. The poles seemed to come down on their own for the most part.

Sorry I haven't been around much--classes and other obligations have been keeping me busy, and I don't foresee that changing in the next month. But my goal is to start an Extra Credits forum discussion tomorrow. I'll post that link when and if I do.
