I knew there had to be some trick to it.  I see a lot of newly-made superbases that suddenly have maxed out size and features.

Yup, and damn skippy does it make a new base easier to build.

The only real problem after that, is you put in 4 hacked telepads (24 beacons total), and then have to go get the beacons. Again. ;]
