Songs for our City - What to do with them

I have a number of original songs written and recorded about City of Heroes that I was hoping to put on you tube...if time really is this short (they had better not shut down ON my birthday  >:( we were supposed to have till Nov 30th what the hell) then I need to do something with them...now  If I email them directly to NCSoft are they even going to listen to MP3s? 

I wanted to polish them and get some one to add music behind my voice, maybe get someone to make a video and post to you-tube.  And was frankly going to encourage anyone else who had musical inclinations to use my song or any song they could think of to put a lot of musical pleas out there.

If time is even shorter then originally believed then  there is no time for another take...what is the best thing I can do with them and does anyone want to help?

I'm going to go log on game...and cry.

Did you read something or am I misreading your message:

If I had any musical talent, I'd help. Either way, I think you should finish this. Or at least one of the songs that you feel is most appropriate.

On the thread about the wiki and others someone seemed to be implying an earlier cut off...it better only apply to the boards if that...I don't know but even the slightest possibility of that being real has me freaking out.  I would like to know why it is being said also.

And I have multiple mp3 files ready...they were not supposed to be final drafts but good enough to play for people if someone wants to help me get these out

Thank you for the clarification... I had not read the wiki thread.

Until I can't log on on October 1, I'm going to take that as a rumor.

I would HOPE that NCSoft would have the shred of decency to tell us that the deadline has moved up.

oops it wasn't the wiki thread but it was several others including the sentinel thread.  I'm going to hope and assume this is false but back up all toons...meanwhile back to the original purpose of this thread  :)

Does someone have somewhere I can upload preliminary files or want something emailed...again this is not the final version but I'm ready to start collaborating with others.  I know myself and I'll either rush to post before anything is ready or be polishing for weeks and even if this was just a stupid annoying rumor I'm done waiting its time to commit myself to doing something that might have an actual impact.

Everyone and anyone else who is into music I honestly do not care if you do your own project or help with min... but let our voices be heard.  Ask Ncsoft to sell or set us free, ask them to negotiate, tell them what COH means to you.  Just put your heart out there and sing.  I'm trying to subsume all the anger because right now I only want to give them the anguish, the pain, the strength, determination and hope.  Save your anger songs and those of revenge...for later if we need them.  Inspire others, parody existing songs or write your own but get out there and sing.

Music is supposed to a universal language and maybe it will help...We have to try.
