So much to do, there's plenty to farm
So many things to remember
Saturday night I like to raise a little harm
I'll sleep in December.

We've been drinking heartbreak since the thirty-first
And we're dreading November
The news wasn't bad -- it was the very worst
I'll sleep in December, alright.

Well, I signed the petition to get the Devs rehired
Called every Supergroup member
I held a torch until my arm was tired
I'll sleep in December.

I've got a Titan Weapon and an Energy Blast
And some Freaks to dismember
Maybe no future, but a hell of a past
And I'll sleep in December.

So much to do, so many adventures
So many friends to remember
I'd hoped to keep playing 'til I'm wearing dentures
I guess I'll sleep in December.

I love this stanza, especially the last two lines.  Very heroic, very 'grit your teeth and once more into the breach'.

Very. . . ''don't tell me the fight is doomed to failure, it is OUR fight and we are going to fight it to the end!"
