Bust the Base
Then we got my toons, Alimorel's, Bear's and Star's toons involved in a maximum capacity test we called 'Bust the Base'
This was my largest and most detailed base on a large plot, so we figured max load plus very large item count would be the best test.
We reached a maximum invited count at 30, then I brought in another toon (account base, no invite) and  my toon that was standing outside, doing the inviting.
Alimorel counted 32 at that point (invited plus account toons)
We suspect 32 is the absolute max, as any additional (invited) toon went to a separate instance.

I glad to report that the base and the toons in it were stable during the process!

"Photoshop-type" I can do, but doesn't always look so nice. My skills require some serious power-LVL'ing.
"Multitooning"? If I run 2 instances of PChat my computer nearly starts screaming for some fresh air. So how am I supposed to get 20+ toons on 1 screen using 20+ instances of PChat? Don't think that's going to work.

Only thing I can think of is running Icon and using the tools within to spawn my toons in specific places. I did that once, works pretty wel. Takes some time aligning the toons. But the result is ... acceptable.

Instead of multitooning or Photoshopping, I go the Demorecord route.

1. pose each character in the spot I want
2. record a Demo
3. copy/paste the coding into one file (making the proper minor adjustments*)
4. run the merged Demo
5. take screenies

*In Demos, each model gets an ID #, so I make those numbers unique to each model... and that's about it.
