If nothing else, it looks like it will have some fun size-based sequences and sight gags.
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

Marvel has been doing a very good job of making me give them my money so far, and this looks like a movie I'll really enjoy giving my money up for.

DC and Warner really need to get a grip on their films.

Marvel kills it with their films like 99% of the time while DC is just the opposite, in revenue and critic and fan response.

With Black Panther I can see another half a billion dollars at least.

Even Marvel's lighter films, like this new Ant Man one will make a good chunk of change.

But you don't understand. Batman is DCs most popular character so everybody has to be Batman.

Actually we will probably see a huge change in tone since WW killed it at the box office.  JL was finished too early to be hit by that realization but I expect Aquaman to much higher quality.

Everyone has to be Batman.  Doesn't mean they're particularly memorable as him (Ben Affleck) or good at being him (George Clooney).

Eh, I hope you're right but I don't know how much they have been able to change Aquaman.
