What happened to my characters? I haven't logged in a while, and now they're gone. Not even the old .DB file restores them! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Okay... looking around on the board, I've found out where they are. Oh sweet Cthulhu... after all the shit my girlfriend and I have been dealing with lately, I didn't need another thing going wrong.

They're there.  ;D

If you copy the file "ParagonChat.db" from your old computer and replace the same file on your new computer with it, you won't have to do any recreating.  You can put it on a USB or transfer it via network.  It's a good idea to make a backup of "ParagonChat.db" every so often anyway, in case you ever need to reinstall or have other issues.

And just in case...

1. Open Paragon Chat as if you are going to log in but don't log in.

2. Click the blue folder icon underneath the login button.

3. In the window that pops up, locate the folder called Database.  "ParagonChat.db" is inside said folder.

Where is "ParagonChat.db" ?  I cannot seem to find it in my folder.

Start ParagonChat.
Click the blue folder button.
Choose the "Database" folder.

Typically:
C:\Users\[...]\AppData\Roaming\ParagonChat\Database\ParagonChat.db
