We are VERY short of snow here in Southern California. Can you send some our way?

I'll second this.

Call me a weirdo then, but there's no such thing as too much snow! Never want it gone. The more, the better.

Maybe where one lives is somehow related to one's affection for snow.

In Central California, it snows about once every quarter century, and accumulates even less frequently.  Fortunately, the Sierra Nevada mountains are a mere hours drive away, so we can go visit the snow when we feel the need. ;-)
What was no more, is now reborn!

Grew up in Georgia where we never got anything significant. Live in DC area where we get a nice two-footer every six or seven years. Winter of 09-10 was heaven on earth here.

We'll weather this storm like we weathered the previous storms.
So far so good. Onward and upward!

Thank you for making me miss my Weather Control characters all the more >:(

Haha!  I like that.

I have an idea for yet another new effort to get CoX back.  I think it's got as much chance of succeeding as the ongoing efforts already underway.

We need to invent a cosmic treadmill type device to allow us to travel to an alternate earth where CoX was never shut down.

Easy peasy.

And if we can find one where the outcome of the last election was different, to boot, all the better.

I would sooner do without CoH ever again than endure Hillary as POTUS.

No politics please.

Can we have one place where I don't have to hear about Trump or Hillary or Republithugs or Libtards? I am exhausted with the lot of you angry partisans. the hate is bad for our democracy.

Return of CoH - Oh My God! It looks like it can happen!

While we're at it can't we just find CoH in a more rational reality where they decide between grossly incompetent candidates based solely on an impassioned speech from a little girl?

I second that motion and move we close the floor.  That's one of the things I hated about AP. Every four years, listening to people talk politics.

I promise, I won't speak of it again.

If the game were active - I dare say, I wouldn't have even known there was an election.

As a generally independent leaning person, agree we don't need the partisan hate here.
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

I am watching the awesome games done quick marathon today....I keep thinking how CoX started to get speed runs for it's various mission strings/task forces/incarnate trials.  I keep thinking how it's likely one of the few mmorpg's where speed running was a viable thing, unlike 99% of them where there is no purpose for such a thing nore would they be remotely entertaining.

I for one would like to thank everyone for their remarkable restraint from those pesky quadrennial argumentatively flammable discussion topics. <3

Arcana,

Would you direct me to links, wikis or prior posts that shed some light on the interactions between the buffs and debuffs for things like recharge and regen?

I've seen the wiki post on Attack Mechanics and think I have a decent understanding of that aspect.  ToHit, Acc, etc.

One of my basic questions is whether debuffs are applied as simple arithmetic subtraction of the enhanced value or are they multiplicative of the enhanced value.

I've been playing around with Mids (hoping that some day I'll get a chance to build a new toon) and would like to get a better idea how debuffs interact with base values and buffs of those base values.

I always enjoy your detailed explanations on these topic. : )

Thanks in advance, P

p.s. Have you come across a tool that can help determine the optimal attack chain that factors in end recovery and maximum dps?  I've done a little modeling in excel and it seems to get complicated pretty quick.
