CoV collector's comes with seven HeroClix game figures (Posi, States, GW, Black Scorpion, Lord Recluse, Cpt Mako, and Manticore). CoV regular comes with one (random). CoH didn't include any figures in either regular or collector's.

I have the box, the heroes vs Villians box both displayed in my room..with all 7 hero clix lined up.

Oh, cool, I didn't notice that I got a promotion! Does this mean my next character will start at level 20?

No but you might live past the first foot stomp.

Nice to see that my interview comment got a page of folks talking about interview stuff.  I'm still an emotional wreck from being nervous the last forty-eight hours or so.  I needed a smile.

Thanks, Titan people, for a smile this morning.

I still play the 8 HeroClix figures on teams today.  Any chance I can run a 200 or 300 point build and I don't have anything else set aside, I'll grab Statesman and Positron, or the other Statesman and Positron and Manticore, or the Arachnos villains.  :)

I had a number of job interviews where a written programming test was required, filled with trick questions.  (Like functions with four variables being passed in, but only some of them can be changed by the function, and they have different names within the function than outisde it - like they pass variables a, b, c, d, in but they're called d, b, a, c in the function - and then after doing a dozen or so ridiculous operations with them, and then ask me what the variables' values were after being passed through the function)  And they'd never tell me which questions I got right or wrong afterwards, just that I didn't get the job.

I have a Manticore hero click somewhere. never got much into hero clicks though.

ah, lunch break the only time I'm awake enough to post here. I keep writing posts late at night and deciding not to post them because I don't have the wit left to re-review what I wrote, or I do have the wit left and it's just not the way I want to say it and it could be taken differently than intended.

so,  summing up, yes CO made some bad decisions for team instigation, or rather the lack of team instigation planning all together.

Downix's absence is most likely due to project schedules, holidays and of course he /might/ be in a very integral part of the negotiations where NCSoft's lawyers have told him it's better if he avoids making any online comments.

Usually such integral parts of discussions are left to last, AKA tying everything together and making final handshakes. So we could be at the end of the deal, or at least near such. But again I have no official access to anything, so it may have nothing to do with the deal.
There is always another way. But it might not work exactly like you may desire.

A wise old rabbit once told me "Never give-up!, Trust your instincts!" granted the advice at the time led me on a tripped-out voyage out of an asteroid belt, but hey it was more impressive than a bunch of rocks and space monkies.

Or maybe he is under an NDA and doesn't want to jeopardize a 2 year deal for the game with random internet posting.

Wasnt the way my collectors were. All of my coh collectors had 1 figurine and the cov had recluse and all the patrons minus scirocco. While my coh deluxe edition had no figurines but had a pvp comic.

I had 3 of each coh and cov for my 3 paid accounts.

I had an interview for a security supervisor position once. The questions the interviewer asked me were highly theoretical, and really had nothing to do with the post I was was applying for. Most of my answers were, "it would depend on the body language of the individual that I am talking to" or something similar. I mean , really. two people can do the exact same thing to warrant a reprimand. However, the discussion with those individuals would most likely go in entirely different directions all because of their responses and body language. I don't make up scenarios just so I can lay out the exact conversation that I will have with each personality type. I'm sure that Arcana could do that. Not sure why anyone would really bother. I tend to just deal with situations as they come up and, mostly, follow procedures. It's worked for me so far.

Needless to say, I didn't get the supervisor job.

Personally, I don't think trick questions or weird theoretical questions are remotely useful in job interviews.  Unless your company publishes riddle books, they don't tell you anything worthwhile about potential hires.

Incidentally, the original point of many of these kinds of questions was not to test to see if the interviewee couild logic out the answer, it was to pose questions that didn't have single answers and find out how the person thought through problems.  Its not the answer, its the thought process that was considered important.  Because that was kind of lost over time, the whole notion of even using questions like this is falling out of vogue, particularly because most people are not capable of crafting questions like this that are relevant to the kinds of jobs they hire for.  Knowing how someone would think through the problem of fitting ping pong balls in a 747 isn't necessarily enlightening for a nuclear power plant operator, say.

i am sad, some how or another all of my collectors edition Hero Clix figures got broke except Scorpy...not that i played Hero Clix but i loved haveing them on my desk....lined up like they were about to fight.
If we set it on fire it'll burn....but that'd leave evidence...I KNOW ! COMPLETE ATOMIZATION! WOOOO!

If you want to be able to load/unload the ping pong balls easily you place them in large garbage bags first. They still can be easily pushed into tight areas without the fuss or difficulty chasing them around.
