Wait, is one of the Strucker twins dead or were you talking about the Maximoffs?

I was wondering too. Usually when someone says "the twins", that refers to the Maximoffs.
I had no idea Strucker even had a kid.

So.....

Two potential ideas occurred to me about next week's episode ...

Spoiler for Hidden:
Jemma isn't really Jemma, and she's going to go back to rescue the real Jemma.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Jemma is really Jemma, but there's someone she left behind there ... maybe that 19th Century guy from a prologue we saw earlier. And of course Jemma has fallen in love with him because they want to prolong the romantic agony betweeen FitzSimmons as long as possible.

Or Jemma is Lash. She already showed she wasn't a big fan of Inhumans last season. And something on the planet made her one of them

I'm calling it now - that killer Inhuman will turn out to be Andrew.

That was my first thought.  Then I thought it was too obvious.  Then I started considering all kinds of unlikely people - like Ward or the gal in charge of the government group they've been reluctantly working with.
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

Well I am basing it on the fact that I am sure it wasn't Andrew lying in that pool of blood and was blown up.
And Strucker's kid looked scared instead of someone who came out on top in a fight.
(Unless there was a last minute rescue that we will see next week).

It's possible he doesn't even know - like the old days when Banner became the Hulk and had no idea what the Hulk was up to.

First I thought it might have been Jemma, but that thing was around while she was still on that other planet.

I enjoyed that episode a lot.

I just don't understand why Jemma didn't mention him right away to mount a rescue. The guy basically saved her life and she has been back a while and only now mentions him.

I was right! See my post October 22nd. I said
Spoiler for Hidden:
Andrew
would turn out to be Lash!

I've been binge watching AoS... after I stopped paying attention halfway through the last season.
About Lash, is it just me or does he look an awful lot like Blackheart?

Minus the tail of course.
I'm bad and that's good.
I'll never be good and that's not bad.
There's no one I'd rather be than me.

...unless I could be Batman, of course. Everybody wants to be Batman.

Great episode.  I do not know how they manage to cram so much stuff into one hour.  I felt like I had just watched a two parter or a movie.

For the first half or so, I felt like the episode was just spinning its wheels...

So, does anyone else think that Coulson is just playing the sap for now to figure out what's her name's endgame?

One would hope so, otherwise he needs to be kicked out of the spy union.

From the preview it looks like he figured it out. Phil ain't no dummy.

As Malick blithered on, I became bothered by how familiar he sounded.  Eventually, I was bugged enough to hit IMDB and find out he was Grodd in Justice League.

Powers Boothe is awesome in everything.
