When COH Comes Back, And You First Log-in...

Work my way up to and through the Frostfire Mission.  Then I'll cry....

Yeah.

That's the one. It would bring me to tears seeing FF again. Most fun I usually had leveling with Pugs was helping new people beat FF. It was dam hard sometimes but way worth it once you beat him and his pets. Always worth leveling your toon in the outside world (vs AE missions) just for those little moments.

FF was also usually one of my "test points" for my builds.  If I couldn't solo FF, I'd have to re-think my build to that point.

But, helping newbs through FF was always fun. 

I think I'll try and level my first new build to at least 42, as fast as I can, just to have one up at that level.

Then, I'll build one to *play* and level the old-fashioned way... Missions from 1-50, no AE, no sewers, etc.

I'm even missing the blue caves at this point.   :gonk:

The Orenbega caves were cool! especially the occasional "drip" sound and the magic mushrooms all around. The only problem was they usually had Circle of Thorns mobs in them.

I would create a white wolf character, name it (some metal) Wolf and make snippy comments to new players.

I would take a character through as much of the story line as possible, and go to every zone.  And say, "Welcome back, I've missed you <zone_name>."

I'd like to think I knew exactly what I would do, but it will probably be totally different from anything I could plan.  The only thing for sure would be, using my saved costume/power mod files to quickly create my stable of characters on my chosen server, and then one by one, take them through as much content as time would allow.  I want to see, and do everything again!

In all honesty, I will probably start a fire/fire farming tank immediately and stick to it until its max level while ignoring content along the way. I'm derp like that, but I prefer to be able to have money available while casually leveling my precious characters and playing the content I didn't get to before lol I played CoH for a number of years, but lot of stuff I never got to do.

The MINUTE I know of a definite date the game will be back... put in my vacation request for at least 3 to 4 days off.


In game... create all my toons and make sure to grab their names.

I would probably try and re-roll some of my old characters (not ALL of them - just a special few). I'd bounce around like a MANIAC under the globe with everyone at first (I honestly feel like that's what a lot of people would initially start doing - just running around Atlas, meeting up with old friends, being all excited and what-not, etc). Then I'd probably wander over to the Pocket just to see who all was over there, and then I'd get back to the tutorial/Atlas and start getting at those missions like CRAY.

...Dammit, I want this game back.

• Get a new more powerful computer with state-of-the-art graphics cards
• Install a microwave, sink and fridge in the computer room
• Pick a fight with ALL my friends, so that they will leave me alone
• When the launch day arrives, play until I just can't play no more

1. vacation time from work or else say a family member died. Whatever it takes.
2. Plenty of snacks but no caffeine for me, I detoxed that 2 years ago.
3. Be sure computer is fully tuned up, even blow the dust out of it.
4. advise all that would need to contact me that unless the apocalypse is occuring or someone is dying I will not be available.
5. play until I fall into a coma, then arise and play some more
