A Server Name

I know this server doesn't need a functional name, at least not until there are others to choose from.
But we should give the server a name.

Even though the NCSoft servers were fantastic, they were, after all, only servers. They 'served'.
They served their purpose:
To forge a community greater than the game that they served.
To prepare that community for what would need to be done.
To empower that community to overcome a global sunset until the day the heroes and villains breathed new life into the game that had given new life to them for so long.
On the server they built for their game that they loved; The server that had been the game's destiny since it's earliest days in beta testing...

"... Destiny server?"
"... Titan One server?"
"... AP34 server?"

If you give it a name, you give it power.
We should give the server a name.

My bad. There is one already. Still, there are some good ideas floating around out there.

The server name is Paragon. It doesn't show on the character selection screen, but it shows in the Global Friends list.

Servers often have the name of a virtuious or patriotic archetype such as freedom, justice, protector, guardian or virtue.

so in that theme i will go really cheesy and give it the most overused name in genreshows for the new child or ship ect...

"Hope"

or something to reflect all the people waiting around for this.

"Patience", "Faith", "Vigilance"

There's a lot of good names- quite a few have already been mentioned. I agree it should be one word, in keeping with the previous ones, while reflecting what is, and may one day be.

Out of the ones I've seen

Legacy (my favorite, but that's because it's tied to the SG I've been a part of 'forever'- even past the going dark, we call ourselves that in every game we play...)
United (to represent what we can achieve if we are)
Reborn (is good-thematically)
AP33 (for obvious reasons)
Sunrise (because it was the first suggestion that totally rocked!)
Titan (because it makes sense, and honors its roots)
Hope (because, too true!)
Destiny (because we still believe...)
Faith (because.. we still believe...) :)

I agree that names have power, that's why I don't like
Afterlife (we're still here, damnit!)
Redemption (we have nothing to redeem)
Joke names (it deserves better)

There should be two obvious answers.

Titan, for The Titan Network, who got this rolling.  Downside is though that this is a bit close to City of Titans name wise.

And Paragon, since this is Paragon Chat, and of course because it involves Paragon City.

...All though Bob is cool too.
