Linking NCSoft account?

I just installed Icon the other day, but I see the option to link my NCSoft account. Every combination seems to work, but then it freezes and 'can't connect to DBServer'

Can anyone help me out with this? I searched but had no luck.

Um, this isn't NCSoft's Paragon Chat or Icon programs so you definitely will NOT be able to use that account in any way, shape or form.   ;)  There's no NCSoft/CoX database server for you to connect to, nor will there ever be.

I was asking about Icon because Paragon Chat isn't released just yet. And on the login page there is a "Link" checkbox. That's what I'm curious about.

That's just a legacy item.   You won't use that now.

You need to understand that Icon isn't a standalone application. It's a tool for essentially hotwiring the client to start and go into the costume creator bypassing the authentication and ignoring the fact there's no communication with the server.
