I admired the ones that used just a series of lowercase Ls and uppercase I's (which in game just looked like ||||||||||) just because of how hard it must have been to log in and play as them.

God that must have taken forever to write ;) .  I remember seeing so many numbered variations of 'Legolas'  that it got to the point of seeing "L360la5" and beyond that i someimes forgot who they were trying to immitate.

I remember recruiting for TF's and somebody would say, invite zzWolverine or something like that.
I would send the invite and get the no such name message.
It would turn out to be zz Wolverine or something like that.

There was this one time that I fell for trying to invite Mike Hunt.
Thought that I would never live that down.

Parallel Illusion. Everyone was dressed as a Phantom Army decoy from Illusion Control. It was pretty awesome. I joined after their heydey so I only ever saw 3-4 at a time, but apparently at one point there were enough to overwhelm PVP zones...basically breaking the Siren's Call bounty system. lol
