"Control the Controlables"

Eoraptor

I dunno, both are fun.... the clockwork have the better backstory... but the skullz were the only ones I used to inspire a hero's backstory...

Loved them both but I'd have to choose Clockwork.  Those things would chase you till the end of time.
If I was a Jedi, there's a 100% chance that I'd use The Force inappropriately.

Blackout

Gotta' go with Clockwork here, as much as I love skulls, I just love the theming and the aesthetics of the Clockwork (Especially the Princes and Oscillators)
Plus they just seemed to give the areas they inhabited so much more life (Weirdly enough) I dunno' I just really like them I guess

Castegyre

I loved the clockwork. One of my main characters was inspired by the Clockwork King.

Inc42

I have to go Clockwork on this. They were cool little (usually) steam punk guys and one of the first things that come to mind when I think of the game. I remember after a very heavy gaming weekend going to work Monday after getting almost no sleep at all (What? We ran lots of TFs that night.) passing by a construction zone and looking for Clockwork there just out of habit.

Steelhelm

Clockwork because of the steampunk style they had.

ricodah

Clockwork.  I liked the original and the Praetorian versions.

LaughingAlex

Clockwork tended to be harder to fight and were just way more interesting than Skulls.  Skulls were just generic low-level thugs while clockwork actually advanced quite significantly.
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

SerialBeggar

Clockwork.

They were more interesting than the Skulls.

I was once killed in a lowbie mission by the little Gears that came out of the Box of Parts pile.  I think I was playing my first controller and I just didn't have enough damage to make significant headway on the HP of the Box of Parts before needing to retreat to Rest.  Eventually, I was only able to barely get one attack off before being alpha'ed by the mass of accumulated spawned Gears.
Teams are the number one killers of Soloists.

I'd have to say clockwork too for this reason.  There was nothing quite like traveling across an entire map only to see that the clockwork you ran into when you first entered the zone was still following you.  :o
Patiently lurking from the shadows...

SerialBeggar

There was the time a Clockwork ambush followed me down an elevator to shoot me in the back while I was Resting.   :-\

Paragon Avenger

Clockwork were loads more interesting.

healix

I hated those little clocksuckers.......
Listen to the 'mustn'ts'. Listen to the 'don'ts'. Listen to the 'shouldn'ts', the 'impossibles', the 'won'ts'. Listen to the 'you'll never haves', then listen close to me... Anything can happen . Anything can be.

Amen! Sooo many hours of my life were wasted scouring maps for ONE annoying clockwork runner only to find him lodged in a tree, or a ceiling rafter, or a door hinge, etc.
Plus, as a professional disher-outer of justice I say Skuls deserved their beat downs, simply because they CHOSE to be evil-doers.
History shows again and again
How nature points out the folly of men

Paragon Avenger

I have to comment, because that's what I do.

I think I liked killing clockwork more.

hurple

Clockworks were awesome.

Skulls were meh.

Paragon Avenger

I never understood all the fuss over Skulls, the Outcasts were more interesting.
