News of Another COH Player Passing

Hi, all.

Just this week I found out one of my best COX friends passed away back in January 2014. I met him all the way back in 2004, and we teamed together a lot over the years. More or less the last two years that we played we teamed almost every day. Most of our friends who played COX with us gave up the game long before us, but we were there almost from the beginning until the last night.

His globals (he had two accounts) were @Vee and @Vee2. For most of his time in COX he stuck with Virtue, but he played a lot with me on Triumph as well.

I don't know of any of his COX friends who might frequent the Titan forums, but I thought I'd mention it here as I don't know of anyone who was a more ardent lover of the game than Vee.

He might have played some on Freedom, but I mostly know he played on Virtue and then Triumph. Both of us had tons of characters on pretty much every server though so it's always possible you did meet him on Freedom.

I am sorry for you and his family for the loss.

I also look at these things as they are waiting in the game when it comes back so you can rebuild one of his characters and play it in his memory.

In the end after the sadness and mourning fades, all that will remain are the great memories. 10 years of friendship, starting from city of heroes is an awesomely long time

I think we meet get have played together. Triumph was my a secondary server. Super Stoner was my name as I established an all stone tank SG.
