First off, is it just me or did the TARDIS in siege mode look an awful lot like the Pandorica?

Secondly:  it took all episode to figure out that the solution was to point the magic Sonic Wand at the problem and make it go away?  Usually that's the first thing you try.

This episode's villain was weaksauce hiding behind good visuals.  The best part of the episode was the line at the end: 'you made a great Doctor, but it had nothing to do with goodness.'
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

Thought so too, the siege mode looking like a tiny Pandorica.

Mental Maden

I think he needed the Tardis at full power to pull off the final blow. (That's how I interpreted that at least. The energy or what ever he "shot" them with seemed to come from the Tardis)

I'm bad and that's good.
I'll never be good and that's not bad.
There's no one I'd rather be than me.

...unless I could be Batman, of course. Everybody wants to be Batman.
