Actually there's a pretty good argument that the Stormtroopers didn't always miss because they had bad aim, but because Luke and Crew were MEANT to escape. The homing beacon on the Falcon led them to the rebel base, after all. So all part of a plan to find the rebels. Put on a good show and let them betray themselves. And a comment by Obi Wan early on suggests they weren't known for bad aim ( commenting on the blaster patterns on the Jawa transport being too precise for sand people. )

Of course they're good shots, at least 1/3rd of them are original clone troopers left over from the clone wars, and another 1/3rd or so are later model clones from Spaarti cylinders.

Sadly, my Star Wars isn't as good as my Star Trek.

Here's a fun fact. Remember the Return of the Jedi poster, with what seems to be Luke Skywalker's hands holding a lightsaber aloft?

Those are actually George's Lucas's hands.  He didn't trust Hamil to hold the saber properly. :p

I'm almost scared to ask Shad...

and I'll admit, I did not know that. xD
However, I've never seen a Return of the Jedi poster in person...
A Revenge of the Jedi poster however...

Quick game question

Was storm summoning a good secondary to have. Im thinking of making my second toon back an illusion storm. I never choose storm summoning in all my years of playing, but I would like to know if its any good and how its best to be applied.

I wouldn't use the word "replace," but there's no word for "take over for you and make everything better almost immediately," so we just say "replace."

artbunker, that's really something more for the build subforum.  But yes, Storm can be a fun powerset.

To bad we could not trust Lucas to not mess up the rest of Starwars after the first two and a half movies. yes Only part of the return of the Jedi was great it was going along fine until the stupid Ewoks and then the complete garbage that was the last three movies

He couldn't shoe-horn the wookies back in, so he decided to make a cute, furry critter that would sell loads of toys. MARKETING!

Yes, except the insufferable part. Just almost insufferable.

Like knowing that water is not a clear, colourless liquid at room temperature, but is actually blue. Barely.

And I also saw a Revenge of the Jedi poster from the old Star Wars Fan Club (and a patch, I believe) that a friend of mine got before the almost-last-minute title change.
The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.* FFM: I think you're mostly wise in this instance, apart from one part.

Star Wars. My childhood.

I never really enjoyed the "Imps got garbage aim" argument. It's more-or-less a combination of http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ImprobableAimingSkills
and

The real question, why is the Stormtrooper armor so bloody useless?

Also. . . On the other thread there was a discussion about travel powers. I have always favored a 5th and 6th level to travel powers.

#5:  Map Travel: Click on a spot on the map and Run/Jump/Fly/Teleport to that location automatically, off screen. (Level 25ish)

#6:  Zone/Plane Travel: Choose another zone (That the character has previously been to) and automatically Run/Jump/Fly/Teleport to that zone off screen. (Level 35ish)

Most players will not bother with these powers as they probably would save those slots for other combat powers, but for folks who want them, they would nicely expand the travel power pool at higher levels.

There comes a point when travel between zones becomes something of a grind. Base Teleport Beacons can short cut that, but not everyone is in an SG or has access to a base. Ouroboros and Pocket D offer a few other shortcuts, but not nearly enough to cover every destination. SO once a toon has traveled to those maps or zones and has those travel powers, then he would be able to return to them quickly. Makes some of the TFs a lot more doable!

We're almost there!

Being able to warp or portal to zones as a travel power I think is a fantastic idea.  Initially, after playing for a few years, I thought how tedious it was to have to change tram lines to get to certain zones and wonder why they didn't have a tram to take you to Founders.  After they changed all of that, I really missed the exhilaration of having to do that terror run (if you were woefully out-matched) staying in the exact middle of the street through Steel Canyon or Skyway to switch trams and running through Talos to get to Founders was a bit thrilling too.  I think sometimes tedium is not a bad thing.
If I was a Jedi, there's a 100% chance that I'd use The Force inappropriately.

All you youngsters, with your prequel complaints.  I've known real suffering, I tell you.  I saw the Star Wars Holiday Special when it ran on TV!  Now that's real pain!

I did buy my sister an Ewok Plushie one Christmas, and I did receive a few Ewok action figures as presents.
