I'm giving Ice a try and wondering how energy management works?

Any other Ice tips?

The ice energy return is in shatter, plus being ranged concentration form has some.

To use it you have to add chill stacks to targets, then shatter them. You get a % of endurance back x stacks x targets. I've yet to test this, but the key seems to be frost breath taps + chill advantage. So not yet sure if even gain more energy then you use with that combo.

Currently using Constitution 'if you attack me i get energy'  spec, blocks, and energy builder instead of above. Plus avalanche to kill the mob before energy is much of an issue

Thanks, good info. I didn't stick with ice long enough to figure out that Chill/Shatter was Ice's only energy unlock even though I took the time to read some guides. This one is old but I thought I'd share it because it was an interesting read.

I'm a fan of Con tree's Fuel my Fire (is it?) even though I usually don't have enough End in a build to squeeze nearly as much out of it as I could.

Ice is fairly awesome. I only dropped it because I'm trying stuff out while I'm still low enough level that it's cheap to retcon & change costumes. I can see running as either dps or tank by putting the Passive as the last power so it's cheap and easy to retcon switch for when the mood strikes. It's a powerset that looks like it could be fun both ways. I have Vikorin in mind, running as tank.

So far with Ice I like how it can be fast and busy due to not being locked down and having the ability to have several things going at once. Ice seems to be good with Athletics which I always choose, too.

I can't see Ice outdps'ing my Fire build at this point but the deeps are respectable and entertaining and I never see anyone running an ice build except that guy I wish I could remember his name who plays a Glacier AT and rules in Hero Games.
