Lay's sells "lightly-salted" potato chips (light-blue bag) Have you tried those?

I was looking for some extra-sweet barbecue-flavored potato chips, and tried Lay's Sweet Southern Heat. Big mistake: no sweetness whatsoever, and extra-extra heat - the direct opposite of what I wanted. :P Took me days to get through them - the longest an open bag of potato chips has ever lasted with me.

Even lightly salted will do a number on my mouth and make it hard for me to eat things in some cases.  It really depends on the brand, lays just happens to be pretty hostile to me.  I can eat some chips, but I try to avoid lays.

I'm a bit grossed out by some of the new lays chips. Then again my favorite kind are just straight up regular. (Though I enjoy BBQ, cheddar and sour cream, and mesquite.)

On another note, I still have quick link tab on firefox to the old CoX forums that I just don't have the heart to delete yet. I would always accidentally click it since it was next to my Titan Network quick link and see the shutdown message. A couple of months ago the shutdown redirect was removed and the tab was a dead link. I accidentally clicked it again today and low and behold the shutdown faq is back.

A good sign that CoX is being looked at again by NCSoft... most likely not.

But I'm a glass half full type of guy.

Lol I feel your pain. I'm slowly losing weight (I think). I'm not fat but I'm not skinny. Either way all this junk food talk is hurting my dieting efforts.

Hated them. My roommate bought a bag by accident. I had one chip, he had one chip, and a friend of ours ended up taking the entire rest of the bad to his workplace to put in the breakroom.

Nasty doesn't even begin to cover it.

I tried the Chicken & Waffles chips.  I didn't taste even the tiniest whiff of chicken.  It just tasted like someone poured maple syrup over regular chips.  Ew.

My personal favorite salt blitz is Wavy Lays with Heluva Good French Onion dip.  That dip is one of the few products I've known that actually lives up to its name.

Lays held a contest up here in Canada, where fans would submit recipe ideas. A guy from my province won it.

You really can get wierd sorts of chips... I like just salted ones. Or Sour Cream ones. But at the moment i try to abstain from eating chips and sweets. Mostly because my husband wants to lose weigth and i always buy the sweets and chips, open them and he will then eat most of it. And blaim me afterwards.  :roll:
