If CoH was up again soon what would you do?

Spend 2 hours trying to come up with a character name, spend 3 hours trying to decide on what powersets, spend 6 hours trying to make the character look just right and oh play the game.

fire up one of my two or three most played tunes, re roll them, and spend six odd hours just marinating in slowly playing through the story lines.

IF all our characters are gone and we all have to start all over, I would probably try to reclaim all my old characters' names before they were taken. If our characters are still there, I think I would spend a month just going back through all the story arcs with my main character and enjoy playing and reading through them.

I'd reclaim my character names in a heart beat.  I'd try to be on on relaunch day to do that.  But if they still existed, i'd probably have to decide how I'd move from there, as I have plans that do involve a new character.

I never got a crowd control dude (well, not counting my dark/dark defender) to 50, so I'd roll either a controller/dominator and level 'im up. Then I'd roll an epic archetype since I never leveled one of those to 50 either.

1. Take a day off from work (also thank the gaming gods who made my wish come true)

2. Login and move all my toons who are working on Day Jobs (I have an excell spreadsheet that automatically generates a list of which toons need to be moved, by server and account)

3. Log in all my toons and see what I have that I can put on the market. Demand will be high, supply low.

4. Profit!

5. Log in Phantom Traveler and start working him again.

6. Design and start Centurion X, this years anniversary toon. (late, but being late doesn't stop me)

Old Man Bob! Haha, that guy was an absolute trip. I don't think COH would be the same without him in Atlas.

If we don't get all our old characters/stuff back then my first order of business is to claim all the names that I still want/couldn't get the first time around. Then I'd take plenty of time re-making my favorite toons and running them through all the low-level content that I haven't done in years, and loving every minute of it.

If we DO get our stuff back, the first thing I do is finally get Space Blob to 50 and get him incarnated out. Then I'll return to my beloved Ill/Emp, Invuln/SS tank and Staff/Invuln scrapper for some much missed butt-kicking.

I'm with Steelhelm and Alex in reserving my toons' names in preparation for re-creating them. Then, I'll re-create my Fusionette clone for the dance party under the Atlas statue (which will, no doubt, eventually be renamed and recast as the Ironwolf statue). After that, I'll resurrect my AR/Dev blaster, and get a good old-fashioned sewer team started for a run to Kings Row.

If we got our characters back, the first thing I'd do is log back into my two favorite characters, my namesake Elec/Inv Brute and my Bots/Storm Mastermind, and just... play.

When I started doing more "serious" stuff, I'd go back to my Thugs/Traps MM and see whether I could get him to 50.  I'd probably also make a few new characters based on all the ideas I've had over the last, geez, nearly two years.

1. I would first send a 'Thank you' letter to the 3rd party vendor who hosts CoH. ;D
2. I would get a subscription.
3. I would re-load my old character(s) or re-craft them, either way is fine.
4. Spread the word to help the vendor get players, remain profitable so we keep our game.
5. um....go shopping......sooner or later fight crime, too. :roll:
