I started playing City of Heroes in 2008 and only played other MMO's after it closed. I don't know much about MMO's as a rule. I'm sure this is very clever but I'm too clueless to appreciate it.

And Christmas doesn't come right after Thanksgiving. That doesn't mean the time in between isn't a lot of fun. :) If we get an announcement that the game is coming back, then every day until it does will be filled with a wonderful anticipation. Sure, the launch day won't come fast enough, but just knowing that it's really really coming back will be enough to tide me over.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking he's referring to Scarlet Blade by Aeria Games.  That game certainly fits the description.

I suppose they don't want to be associated with a game that's so stripperiffic that Aion and Lineage would look like catholic nuns in comparison. If Aeria Games got CoH, we'd be sharing the same publisher as Scarlet Blade.

From what I've seen of Scarlet Blade, City of Heroes' "Eden" and "Bikini 3" combo would be relatively modest there. This was likely brought up from the "Aeria Pitch" someone talked about a month or two ago where they claimed to have received a reply from Aeria Games about purchasing City of Heroes. It didn't go through.

I don't think NCsoft cares too much about the objectification of women when you look at Blade&Soul. But Blade&Soul is apparently supposed to at least PLAY well. Scarlet Blade plays like it was made just a little under 10 years ago.

Thats the thing though, Scarlet Blade's sole thing was objectification of women pretty much, it played exactly like every other bad mmo that existed with nothing new at all whatsoever.

Yeah, even if they get it with all the old player data intact they still need to install everything as it stands, train support people, re-write the launcher...  hmmm...

"Loading the launcher..."  or is that "Launching the loader..."?  Whichever it is, I look forward to seeing it.  Wouldn't that be a great Christmas present?  Considering the timeline, I think Christmas in the chalet is a real possibility.  Or if everything rockets along maybe we'll be collecting rocks this Halloween.   :)

Wow, somebody tanked in record time trying to sell the objectification of women?  They must have been REALLY bad at it, since it seems to me there are lots and lots of people making lots of money by doing that.
