More Rampage

A lot of people join Alerts. A lot of people that have played awhile and invested decently into their toons (core players) join Rampage Alerts.

Gravi is Fun! I used to join Gravi after Gravi just to join usually pretty good 10 person teams and fight a tough fight. I was like 15 Gravis in before I even noticed my first Q loot notification. I know other people run Gravis just for fun sometimes too. I mean, it can't be for the loot. The costume pieces generally don't sell for a whoole lot and are pretty rare drops on top of that. The Q dries up fairly fast of course, too.

But there's only 1 Gravi.

Custom Alerts kinda fit the bill. They can be tougher than normal Alerts and there is some variety due to they rotate them and add to the rotation occasionally. A step in the right direction.

It's like.. Gravis are Incarnate. If you can coast through a Gravi then you have been playing for longer than a few weeks. We have 1 Rampage Alert, Gravitar, in the entire Alert menu vs. a rotation of Custom Alerts and a plethora of Normals.

Lets get some more Rampage going!

And while they're at it, they can do some Rampage II: The Wrath of Gravi, where we see Rampage Alerts evolve into something even more challenging and much more sophisticated.

If it's done well, I think anything they add to Rampages will be hugely popular with core players.

One new Rampage. Some missions are being converted to rampages. New rewards are being added to them, and you can form a 10-man teamup of people you know instead of solo-queueing.

The Gravi queue was lit up like a pinball macheen this morning. I never had it so easy getting into a Gravi - they were popping like popcorn. Faster than Grabs, even..

Brou, I bet you know the deal on Gravi's yellow Doomdomes. I'm supposed to be able to escape them if I'm fast enough, right?

This is the only part of the fight that makes me roll my eyes. I literally roll my eyes when the second of 2 yellow Doomdomes in a row pop on top of me while I'm playing support and trying to res other people. The reason I roll my eyes is that it's such a cheap shot that it kinda ruins the event for me.

I mean, 2 Yellows in a row means I just blew my res and am waiting for it to repop while being faceplanted by Yellow #2. I've had enough 2 Yellows in a row to burn through all my Triumphants & Servitor Serums. And I get targeted with those things. It's like they're the Take out the Support Guy card.

I can stand in the middle of my rank 3 Circle of Primal Dominion & buffed with ~ 120% damage resist, hit myself with > 9k of bubbles, be at >8k hps, and blocking, and still insta-faceplant. Tried this when I was in experimentation mode.

On my tank I can just hit Block.

The lag has been way better lately, for me, on Gravis. Seems gone, even. But I still can't tell if it's intentional or not that I get deathtouched by those yellow Doomdomes when playing Support and trying to run out from under them in time.

When I run, and Live, it's like.. Was THAT lag, or is it lag when I DIE?
