Then I hear a 'BOOM' from behind followed by shaking, I realize there are thugs causing a reckoning,

I tell em "you better stop that or I'm going tell a hero then you're gonna get whacked!"

One of em shot a rocket at me, but I parried with a blade ROCKING STEEL!

So I ran towards em quick, dodged the first guy made em slip on a BANANA PEEL!

Next time I'll try to be more wary, these thugs I just whipped weren't even really scary.

I recall a web video comic based off of CoH. One of the characters was singing their version of Paradise City.

"Take me down to Paragon City. Where the <insert you know which grouphere> are green and the..."

That's as far as that guy got before he was told to shut up.

Unfortunately, it's been a while since I saw that video comic. So, I don't know where to find it.

Here's one that I grew up on in the early 60's.  Not poetry, but a bit of overly dramatic prose.  Not "exactly" CoH material, but it kind of catches the spirit of the game:

Faster than a speeding bullet.  More powerful than a locomotive.  Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.  Look!  Up in the sky!  It's a bird!  It's a plane!  It's   (Post Your Hero's name here)    Yes, it's     PYHNH   , strange visitor from another planet who came to Earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.     PYHNH     Who can change the course of mighty rivers, bend steel in his bare hands and who, disguised as    (You Know Who)   , mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights the never ending battle for truth, justice and the American way!
