for those of you that haven't seen it, there is a fan site that has reproduced the look of the original almost perfectly. http://www.cityofheroes.ca/index.html

yeah frog checked that one out. I am a bit surprised that there isn't more activity on it though.
Besides a few extra categories, they basically nailed it to as close to perfection in reproducing the look as possible. Good work that site is.

I was curious and thought that my heart had hardened enough.  I was wrong.  I got all misty-eyed when I went to look over some of the threads.  Damn it, I had no clue it would affect me like it has.    :'(

Still, I can't help but look and have fond memories.  Thanks for helping to keep the memory alive.

Yeah, I think the .CA site has never really taken off because there are now several other boards taking the place of the original site, and so it exists in a nostalgia time warp. There's the boards here on Titan, the boards on Phoenix/Titans two sites, the boards for Heroes and Villains, plus small areas on boards for other games like CO. It's hard to want to go back to that sore spot when you've settled in to a new place... like driving by an old apartment only to realize everyone you know there has moved out.
