I enjoyed myself last night.  I went to Staples as per my usual for their 8pm doorbuster (it's the first time they opened on Turkey Day).  Small line, well organized (they had tickets for the various doorbusters, pick one).

Then I went to Target and stood in line for an hour to check out AND then find the other shirts I spent 15 minutes looking for before I checked out with what I had.  >:(

Then I went to Best Buy, got the Chromecast for my folks, which they had plenty of because they hid them away from the rest of the Google products or the TVs.  That was quick with the biggest problem was to get to check out you had to circumnavigate the phone department which they blocked off for queue management.  Thank heavens that Sony and Microsoft had their releases the weeks before hand because the game department wasn't walled off for queues.

Since I've been unemployed for a few months, I didn't have a lot of money to spend for Christmas presents this year.

So, I made my oldest brother his very own coffee mug...out of Lego. Nice thing is, he never has to wash it.

I gotta say, I have four brothers and I'd trade them all for one who was cool enough to do something like that. Shoot, I'd trade 'em for one who could appreciate something like that. That mug is just plain awesome, man! ;D

My other brother actually came up with the idea, and a few of the Lego pieces. I almost had a set of instructions made up for it (15 steps for construction) and would have put a disclaimer that some assembly was required. Unfortunately, the Lego program CTD'd Just before I could get the instructions ready to print. So, I'll just take the mug and a package of "inserts" to the UPS store and ship it all as is. I wonder what the lady at the UPS store is going to think...
