Hey guys, I poked around here, and I may have over looked it, but here goes:

Is anyone trying to gather promotion stuff for CoX? By this I mean specifically the PDF comics, every wallpaper they ever made since the game launched (there's lots since the game launched but over time some would be taken down and replaced, videos, and I even remember once seeing these little AIM buddy icon things they had. Once the games was going down, I started trying to hunt up every little wallpaper and such I could find, but there didn't seem to be a database or a collection or scraping together of them. Any thoughts? If there isn't one I'd gladly love to add in the wallpapers and videos I did find if we could start one. If there is one I'd love a link so I can get them, I've been trying to collect as much stuff like that for the game, since that's all we have left for now.

I have both CoH and CoV fansite kits, think I posted them around here before.
We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

Somewhere beyond time and space, if you look hard you might find a flash of silver trailing crimson: a lone lost Spartan on his way home.

Use the download buttons to download the zip files.  Be patient, Spider Oak takes a bit to get started.

Hmm, they shouldn't be broken. They're just uploaded to the wiki like any other images. Anyone else having problems seeing them? They show up fine for me.

as an example, when I click the first link you gave (second link is fine) only the Academy Logo, Hero Icon, Ouroboros, and Villian Icon wallpapers show. Everything else on the page gives an error such as:

File:COV wp 1 1024x768.jpg

No file by this name exists.
File links

There are no pages that link to this file.

no images, no picks when I click on them, no thumbnail preview.

I have the CoH fansite kit zipped up (21mb) on my desktop and should have the CoV fansite kit floating around here too.....as well as I think the comic books (in pdf).  Not sure what the hosting options are, but I can email them if you send me a pm.

Hmmm. Category:Wallpaper Images is broken if you're looking at it logged out. It's fine if you're logged in.

That... can be remedied. I'm not sure if the existence of the PDFs made posting better scans permissible or not though.

That is strange. My first thought is that the images don't show for file sizes over 256K if you aren't logged in, but I logged out and can still view them just fine.

Instead, try going directly to the City of Villains Fansite Kit page and clicking the links in the list. Otherwise, you'll have to just download them from the kit via the other link that was provided in this thread.

It's interesting though, cause I've already done that, but the wallpapers I can see in your first link weren't in either kit, so I wonder if there are others that me and at least one other here can't see that isn't in the kits too.

Edit: I also tried the link in internet explorer, but all the same files "don't exist" and then I even booted up my laptop to try there and again, the same files "don't exist" except for the same 4 that do work.

I booted up Chrome without logging in, and I'm getting the same errors you are. I also noticed that only the sub-category I added on March 5, 2013, (CoV Pre-Order) is visible. The five sub-categories I added on April 21, 2013, are not there... which might explain all of the broken links because they've been moved into the other sub-categories. No idea what's going on in the wiki's back end, but something's borked.

Thank you very much. All those do seem to work, I'll compare them to what I have and then I'll add them to my collection. <3 I hope that's all the ones that might have been on that page, cause I don't see the architect academy among those links. Also, wasn't there one for a close up of the Reichman's face when the anniversary issue came out, or was that just a normal image?
