I know how you feel. The only play is City of and Swtor time to time. Most of the time I play single player games such as Fallout 4 and Skyrim, among others. Take some time off and enjoy playing other games.

CoX was the last MMO (borderline Only) I played and even when HC poked its head out I really wasn't playing all that much. Part of the issue being that KB / M play causes more pain than a controller. Yes, I know it's Possible to attempt to get one to work for PC, but I also Hate the clicky-click of my XB controllers (prefer my PS) and those would be the easiest to get setup. Overall, I've moved to consoles and tend to be found playing things like Starfield (XB), that Disney game that was Supposed to be F2P on release (PS), and general puzzle games (Switch). I've played others (TLoU, Fallout, etc) as well over time, but my recent change in work style has severely condensed the time I have to cool down anymore.

I feel ya.  I haven't touched any MMOs in quite a few years.  Most of my gaming has been been more traditional RPG (playing the original Fallout this week) and hack-and-slash (Gauntlet and Pathfinder:  Gallowspire Survivors).  There's still a chunk of mobile games to kill a few minutes here and there (Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, Marvel STRIKE Force, and Magic the Gathering: Arena).  And a considerable amount of my time after work is spent preparing for our Saturday Pathfinder sessions since I'm currently in the GM chair.

Other Games / MMO'd Out...

Too much punishment for not adhering to a farming schedule. Too much (anything more than zero) pay to win. Too much hamsterwheelery due to power creep and rule changes that puts me into an eternal cycle to just maintain the level I already achieved.

Too little sense of adventure. Too little sense of achievement. Too little ability to live in a world where everyone starts out truly equal and free of any prejudice and becomes whatever they have the desire and ability to become with their mind (the fantastic-er the better) by using rules and tools available to all.

This has been the direction of things for me for some time now. Granted, I play a tiny fraction of new games but they all have this same theme. The genre's still around after all this time though so there's that.

I tried it but it didn't work. What is the problem?

Well One issue is that Tequila is basically abandonware AFAIK. HC has their own launcher and Manga has made things to make it Mac compatible. There are guides on that server's forum. IDK about other servers. HC is now officially licensed BTW.

As a fellow student deeply engrossed in the world of academia, the exploration of AI Overlord in public schools is nothing short of fascinating.

He (Kevin Smith) sure has his name pop up a lot in the opening credits!

I've been seeing a fair bit of commentary on this last run discussing how Kevin Smith and the writers have managed to work a whole bunch of obscure nuggets into this one to canonize just about every iteration of He-Man that's ever existed - including the live action movie.  It's a fairly impressive feat given the depth of knowledge of the lore necessary and the wildly different takes on the franchise over the years.

Yeah, the second part was just awesome.  And the ending makes me hope we get another season.

Wish, Granted!

Go-go He-Man: Revolution!

I only watched original He-Man way back when, when, there was just nothing else to watch, and, I didn't really get into it, so, I don't know He-Man canon other than the awful haircut and big muscles and sword and Skeletor.

Netflix seems to change He-Man canon with every new production which is something I normally really don't like... but.. it seems to work really well, every time. Probably at least in part due to I never knew original He-Man canon.

Back in the Star Wars days I didn't really like Mark Hamill but he has definitely grown on me! He's good in The Machine currently playing on Netflix, too.

I really like HM: Revolution! Great stories, great characters, and once again, great art.

Never thought I'd be praising He-Man! Been making a habit of it lately... 3 Netflix hits in a row.

General Discussion / Re: Windows Wha?

Good info!

Things kinda fell apart with getting new PCs last year so I didn't bother getting Windows but I'll check these guys first when I go looking again. I'll for sure thoroughly check out any similar offers from other companies after getting edumicated on the naughty sellers out there.

I hate spending so much on Windows! I mean, that's money I can put into building a better computer. More vroom!
