I watched an interesting documentary last night, Indie Game: The Movie. What I took away from it wasn't what I expected. It focuses mainly on 3 different games (Braid, Super MeatBoy, and Fez) and, although they talk a little bit about development, it really is accounting of the passion and sacrifice for their work. If you were feeling bad because you lost your game when City of Heroes was closed, then after watching this, you'll really feel bad for the developers losing their game. It was entertaining and motivating though.
