Moonfyire101, has been facing a MUCH more difficult struggle. Her dad, who is also an avid City of Heroes player and fan, has been told that he has one to two months to live due to cancer. Please, keep her and her dad in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this really difficult time.
So basically this post is to show your support in saying get well or Praying for Moonfyire101's dad.
Whit that said I hope he gets better.
Dear lord God help Moonfyire101's dad in and trough the treatment, as well as bless their family in this time of Trouble I Pray. Amen.

My grandfather was already at stage IV by the time they found it, and my father had stage III cancer, which was safely treated, leaving him cancer free for four years now. You certainly have your family in my thoughts.

Got my mom through two bouts with breast cancer. All I can advise is to soldier on.

Many of us have walked where you do now and it is never the same, we can't hope understand your journey out of the night you will walk in for a time - but we do know one day a laugh will be welcome again. Find peace in your care for each other.

I wish I could do so much more for you Moonfyire and you're Dad. For what she shared with us of him he seems a cool guy to know.

3 years this month since me mum passed away from cancer. Me thoughts, best wishes and hopes go out to you and all your family Moon.
Try to spend as much time as possible with him, enjoy every moment. It will be hard but worth it.

luckly my Mother survived her breast cancer she lost the breast and still living. Sadly her Diabetes have robbed her of sight.

It would be disingenuous of me to offer prayers, i'm not sure i'd be contacting the right deity, but I can vehemently wish for a favorable statistical anomaly.

I am sorry to hear of this as well. May you find strength, hope and comfort during the difficult days ahead. Should you feel the need to lean on a shoulder, I am sure I know of a board full of people willing to offer.

Moonfyire101, my thoughts are with you and your dad. My own dad was diagnosed with throat cancer, and the doctors gave him 6 months to live - that was almost 30 years ago, and he's still around, and still proving them wrong. Keep fighting, and keep positive! :)

I'm not a religious man, nor am I great with condolences. But Moonfyire, you and your Dad, and your family are in my thoughts. Here's hoping he defies all odds.

You guys are so wonderful i appreciate you so much right now. I just found out today that my ex who is like my best friend (known him 14 years) died today also. He has cancer too but was mobil and eating and even attended reptile show with me saterday. We had plans for this week, i was gonna help him around the house, and we also made plans for Decembers reptile show. It was a shock to us that he died. He only has a brother for family and me and 2 close friends. I'm taking donations for a funeral...he deserves one becuase he was a wonderful man. Noone here is obligated i just figured i'd mention it as it is weighing heavy on me and his brother.
TY for the thoughts and prayers for my dad. I really wish there was something i could do to make him better. Ty all for your support, you're wonderful and you make things just a little better with all your kind words. Let's not ever lose touch, you are all like family.

I know what it's like to lose a family member to cancer. It has happened twice to me, now. My sincere sympathies.

Moon, sometimes there are just no words....not the right words, or enough words to convey my feelings about your situation. My prayers and my heart span the distance to wrap around you now. Along with the rest of this 'family' I am here for you. My own wonderful father left this for me in a notepad. I give it to you with much love...

Cancer sucks. I lost my Mom over 20 years ago and far too many others since then. You have my deepest sympathy and well wishes.
