I'm trying to upload this image: http://www.meliorism.com/users/peterpeter/images/ouroportal1.jpg
to put on this page: http://ouroportal.com/wiki/Joey_Katana_%28Champion%29
Or I could just link to it. Whatever is the preferred method. It seems like uploading images is what other people did, so I tried, but I keep getting "file extension does not match MIME type". As far as I know, the MIME type is JPG, and it's a JPG type file, so I'm at a loss.
Any suggestions?

Beats me. I went to the image and saved it to my hard drive. I then went to the upload page on O-portal, browsed to the saved image on my desktop, and uploaded the file (with a slightly modified name). No problem.

When you were trying to upload the image, were you modifying the destination name at all? If so, did you leave the file extension off the end?

Ah, that was it! I didn't include the .jpg on the destination file name. As soon as I added that, it worked! Which... is kind of redundant, since you already uploaded the file. Oh, wait, it didn't work. Gave me a different error message, though, pointing out that it was a duplicate of the file you uploaded. And you created a category page for me. Thanks!

Yay! I made a good guess! :)
