Marvel Heroes are giving away an Iron Man costume to everyone logging in on Saturday.

Also, with the AoU film release they are allowing all new players to start an Avenger and play him through to 60. Not sure if this is in addition to the free hero you get when you first start but I think Hulk and Iron Man aren't normally on the starting player roster and they're both strong heroes. If you're an ex-Brute player, Hulk especially is a lot of fun.

Also - Achievements (badges!!) are launching after the patch today!

You can only take the quiz once per IP address (even if you have multiple computers/players in the house) so if you mess up your answers the first time, you'll have to force your IP to change in order to take it again (quiz is completable on a smartphone! just turn off wifi!). If you're just starting out, some very popular (read: powerful) heroes right now are Scarlet Witch, Invisible Woman, and Venom.

Deadpool is super amusing, but he *is* "The Merc with the Mouth" - he never shuts up - his voiceover comments happen at least twice as frequently as the rest of the heroes.

No one is *boring*, but several heroes haven't gotten their "52 update" yet (Thing, Cable, etc. I can't find the list atm.) so aren't as impressive as the ones who have.

Two Med Kit changes are in the anniversary patch (today):

• Med Kits now stack to 200

• Med Kits can now be used even when you are at full health, since we have added so many "when you use a Med Kit" powers. Their cooldown has not changed.

Someday, we are going to revamp the system to use a bunch of different unique Med Kits and explore that direction, but these two changes should hold us over for a bit.
